A MODEL FOR BIBLE STUDY
The purpose of Bible study is to assist us in learning about God, His eternal and universal Will and His Will for our individual lives. An organized and systematic approach of Bible study is usually more productive than randomly reading the Bible.

Walking Into Another World
Drs Woody and Charlotte Stemples
Hello All,
HFBC Bible Study wants to share with you testimonies of Drs. Woody and Charlotte Stemples, who were the former missionaries in Vietnam.
It is about 37 minutes long. The testimonies/sermon have been delivered to a Vietnamese congregation in California and we have edited the Vietnamese part so you can listen.
You can still hear some dub sounds because two speakers spoke at the same time.
The testimonies will make you laugh and praise God.

Devotional
At a recent EE Board Meeting, Dr. Tom Stebbins, a former missionary to Viet Nam, shared the following outline based on the story of the paralyzed man and his friends who lowered him through the roof to Jesus (Mark 2:1-12). The friends' characteristics should be those of a church who wants to make a difference:

The Story of Jackleg Carpenter and Ramona - Till Death Do Apart!
When I was about twelve years old, my father was a pastor at Forest Park Baptist Church in OKC.
In my father church, there was a man whose name is Jack Legg, who is a carpenter, probably the original "Jackleg carpenter". This man married to a lady name Ramona, who was small, looked frail and sick, and was always on a wheel chair. Jack always pushed her around wherever he goes.

My Heart....Christ's Home
by Robert Boyd Munger
One evening I invited Jesus Christ into my heart. What an entrance He made! It was not a spectacular, emotional thing, but very real. Something happened at the very center of my life. He came into the darkness of my heart and turned on the light. He built a fire on the hearth and banished the chill. He started music where there had been stillness, and He filled the emptiness with His own loving, wonderful fellowship. I have never regretted opening the door to Christ and I never will. In the joy of this new relationship I said to Jesus Christ, "Lord, I want this heart of mine to be Yours. I want to have You settle down here and be perfectly at home. Everything I have belongs to You. Let me show you around."
